    7d As a former Londoner, ‘titfer’ didn’t present a problem for me. Titfer is rhyming slang for hat by way of a corruption of Tit for Tat, which in turn is derived from This for That. I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to cope with Welsh slang though Jon.
