Well, that was the hardest crossword I’ve done in a while. Got there in the end, but I must admit I needed a little help here and there. COD 14d, for the very nice misdirection as to the particular ‘Bush’ we should be interested in (Combat artillery maintained by Bush (6)). Thumbs down to 18ac for being needlessly obscure.
